Chris Miller is a seasoned trading executive and co-founder of ECOS Trading and Emergent Cybernetics. He specializes in options, algorithmic trading, market making, spread-based strategies, and arbitrage execution. With a career spanning physical commodities, equities, futures, swaps, forex, digital assets, and derivatives, Chris brings deep multi-asset expertise to leading the design and deployment of high-performance quantitative systems and custom-built trading platforms.

As CEO and Head of Trading at ECOS Trading, Chris leads the full strategy lifecycle—from quantitative model design to system deployment and execution. The firm specializes in market making, arbitrage strategies, and spread-based trading structures across equity options and futures markets. Under his leadership, ECOS Trading has developed proprietary systems that combine capital efficiency, algorithmic precision, and real-time execution. Chris also serves as CEO of Emergent Cybernetics, where he oversees operations and provides end-to-end consultation and platform development for clients across the global trading ecosystem.

Chris previously served as a Senior Trader on the ethanol desk at Valero Energy, managing both physical and futures positions. Prior to that, he worked as a Grain Trader at Agrex, a Mitsubishi subsidiary, executing strategies across major grain markets in both physical and futures. He holds an MBA in Finance and International Business from the University of Kansas, where he completed his thesis on options pricing theory and Greek modeling.

Ben is a 20-year experienced Software Engineer, Systems, Network and Database Administrator, he has vast knowledge of computer systems and technology infrastructure. Ben received his bachelor's degree from the University of Kansas in Industrial Design with a focus on product design, development and human factors. During this time, he dual majored in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.

In 2006, XIKAR hired Ben to be the Systems, Network and Database Administrator. In 2008, Ben implemented an Enterprise Resource Planning accounting system, xTuple ERP, for XIKAR to run their entire operations on. Two years later he did a full real-time integration between the ERP system and a third-party fulfillment warehouse.

In 2012, Ben was offered a job by xTuple ERP as a Senior Software Engineer. At xTuple, Ben designed and built their public facing REST API, OAuth 2.0 authentication server and leveraged those to build the xTupleCommerce e-commerce platform. The xTupleCommerce platform is a public facing web portal that is connected in real-time to the back-office ERP system. It allows Products to be published on the website and Sales Order to flow immediately into the ERP system for fulfillment.
